Working with Mitch Lira of Lira Home Inspections was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Mitch was not only punctual and professional, but also incredibly personable and knowledgeable. His attention to detail and willingness to explain every aspect of the inspection was beyond impressive. I learned so much from him—not just about our specific home, but about home construction and maintenance in general. He spent several thorough hours inspecting everything from the roof and attic to the crawl space, exterior, and interior of the property. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and passionate about their work, and it truly shows in the level of care and detail Mitch brings to the job. I needed a mold inspection done quickly for my Client as we were in Contract. Mitch explained how the test worked and the lab's process. He completed the inspection and drove the report to the lab on a rush. Everything was completed including the report on my hands within a few days. This process can normally take a week. A Northern California native, like myself,, with a vast amount of knowledge in home inspection and renovation,, Mr.Lira answered every question I had about his findings and gave me the courtesy of explaining the pros & cons about specific short term fixes I thought would suffice to his findings lol,, making things apparent about what i thought were “short term fixes” were in reality, choices that I would later regret. I found Lira Home Inspections through a recommendation on the Discovery Bay & Brentwood Facebook group. I was in need of a four-point inspection for new homeowners’ insurance after my father passed away. I reached out to Mitch and he quickly got back to me with a time and date he could come to my home and take a look at everything. My home is a secondary residence, so I was able to give him access without having to be there. He provided a thorough report and even sent me the drone footage his team shot for my records. There were some repairs I needed to make and Mitch, the owner of Lira Home Inspections, said he would be willing to come back to do a re-inspection for me if needed. He recently reached out to see if I was still in need of his services, which I appreciate so much. Thankfully after making some repairs, the new insurance company wrote the new policy without issue.
